We had a group of 7 ladies who decided to recreate a trip we took with a friend who recently passed away. We expected tears but thankfully we had too much fun to have them. Mark was our driver and he went far and beyond what was needed. He was such a sweetheart and was so good to help us have a wonderful time. We were ahead of schedule so he called a chocolate maker to see if they'd let us drop in for a tasting. And they did. Mark even drove us to grab a pizza on the way home and to HEB. He did far more than what was expected of him. Everywhere we went everyone was so kind (the difference between TX and CA wine countries 😉 ). All asked why we had on what we had on and why we had a photo of someone. Everyone was so sweet about it all. And we are NOT a quiet bunch. Every stop honored her memory beautiful. And we absolutely LOVED the speak easy. So glad it was added on to our day. Everything was perfect. Thank you Dave and Mark for making it all happen. We will most definitely ask you guys to do it for us again. No doubt about that.

Highly recommend this company for transportation to vineyards. They picked us up from home and took us to multiple wineries in the area. They also took care of the prepayment of tastings so we could just arrive and enjoy.

10 out of 10 highly recommend! Our Bachelorette wanted a wine tour and I'm so glad we chose this one! Our tour guide Scott was very patient and took all our photos and boomerangs. We truly appreciate this because memories are important. Scott even had a charger for our phones incase we for ours, which I did. Most importantly we got to connect to the bluetooth so we could play our playlist and set the vibe🎶 We did choose the tour with lunch and it was excellent! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were top notch. I know I will choose to go through Hill Country Wine Tours again for a future girls trip.

A few weeks ago, I was able to gather 24 friends to have a little hill country escape. Dave took his time to speak to me months in advance. He wanted to get a good idea of what we envisioned. He & Ruth brought it to life. EVERYONE had a wonderful time and it is an experience I will never forget. We were not celebrating anything in particular...just time and each other. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. We were staying at Carter Creek Resort and were conveniently picked up at the front of resort. We all went to Hye for our 1st stop...we had lunch there & our first tasting. We then broke up into 2 groups. Fellas went to Garrison & the ladies went to Sandy Rd. Ruth always made sure we had everything together and nothing forgotten. My only regret is that we didn't take a full group pic. Maybe it was due to all the fun we were having! Definitely recommend. This was an incredible experience! Dave, Scott and Kristen were wonderful drivers and were very accommodating. The lunch they had set up for us at Carter Creek was incredible - the burgers and chicken were grilled right in front of us! This was a unique tour in that our group got to pick between William Chris Vineyards and Garrison Brothers for their second stop. It was nice to have options that appealed to all my guests. I went on the Garrison Brothers tour myself, and it was excellent. I learned a lot, and we even got to meet Dan Garrison himself! This was a great option for a corporate event, and we will definitely use Hill Country Wine Tours in the future.

I booked with Hill Country Wine Tours for my friend’s bachelorette and we all agreed that we have to return asap. Dave was so kind and helpful in getting everything arranged and our guide Lindsey took the best care of us. This wine tour experience was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever been on. Dave was extremely thoughtful in planning and had everything organized all the way throughout. He was very personable when planning the tour and I enjoyed that. I mentioned I graduated from Texas Tech and he included a winery owned by a Texas Tech alumni. It really was all the little things he did that made this experience top notch. I didn’t have to worry about one thing at all. He was such a great host and knew a lot about wine himself! I had an absolute AMAZINGGGGG time!!!! Dave (owner) and Lindsey (wine tour guide) made my 30th birthday one to remember!! From the beginning, Dave seemed very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions, even before I decided to proceed with booking. I mentioned the occasion and desired vibe; he was able to provide plenty of recommendations to suit my desires. The booking was seamless and straightforward. Dave followed up with me occasionally leading up to the weekend to ensure I had all details in order (10 stars for his patience b/c work had me in a chokehold!) Lindsey also exhibited great communication and patience. She seemed very interactive and took amazing pictures/videos! She made sure we stayed on schedule and enjoyed what each winery had to offer. The surprise stop was an added bonus! Overall, there are not enough stars available to describe my experience with this company. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Hill Country Wine Tours (Dave) was absolutely, hands down, the best tour company I could ask for! From start to finish, we received white glove service. Dave really listened to what we wanted to do, and really delivered. We mixed it up with doing 2 wineries, a stop at Garrison Bros distillery and he threw in a chocolate tasting, too! Overall, great customer service and experience! The owner was very communicative from beginning to end and made sure to accommodate all of my requests. Our driver, Kristen was energetic, patient, and professional. She was also an excellent photo taker and provided plenty of photos throughout the day.

I had a fabulous time at Hill country wine tours. Ruth was amazing. A fabulous time was had by all celebrating my birthday. I highly recommend Hill country wine tours. We got to do our own playlist and listen to music on the way there and toured three very great wineries and a chocolate tasting. Anything that we asked or needed Ruth was there to take care of it. We also met the owner as well. Carter Creek Winery Resort and Spa was the best out of all of them however, 290 Castle and the Rhinory were also excellent! From pick up two transportation throughout the other wineries to the return back to the hotel, everything was smooth. So if you need a wine tour, don’t hesitate to use Hill country. They are absolutely the best!

We had an exceptionally fabulous time on our wine tour. Keri was super attentive to our needs, with plenty of water onboard (topo + regular 😉 ) and ready to connect our phone so we could listen to whatever we wanted, in order to get the party started! Dave took us on a private wine tour in Johnson City and we had an amazing time! He tailored the wine tour to our specific requests and went above and beyond to make sure it was a special experience. We had a group of 14 and went to 3 wineries. Every winery was prepared for us when we arrived and we felt like we were getting VIP service. Dave even corralled our group together to make sure we had pictures at each winery (which is a difficult task after a few glasses of wine). He also made an extra stop at the end of our tour so we could pick up some of the best pizza in the hill country. I hope I get to do another wine tour with Dave in the future!

He was very knowledgeable and friendly to all 12 of us as well as all staff at the wineries. He educated us on the history of the hill country wineries as well as each area we visited. 10 out of 5 stars for Dave our tour guide! He customized our bachelorette requests for BBQ and wineries. He used his extensive connections to get our bride the best experience. He followed my requests for going to less crowded vineyards by surprising us with an extra stop at a treehouse tasting! He lets you be DJ in the van and even took tons of pictures and sent to me for sharing with the girls. Worth the price!

I can’t express enough how absolutely fantastic this experience was. Dave and Ruth put so much effort into making this one of the best trips my mother and I have shared together. Our two days of wine tours were filled with personable experience, honestly they make you feel like royalty. They had special surprises set up each day for my mother’s 60th bday. I honestly can’t put into words how wonderful of a job they did! I will most def use them again in the future and would recommend them for anyone and everyone if you want a upscale great thoughtful experience. I am honestly speechless because of how awesome of a time we had on the Hill Country Wine Tour!!!! There’s were 17 girls on our tour and Dave’s best friends, Eric and Amy came in from Dallas to drive us around! They were INCREDIBLE! So much fun and they generally cared about us having a good time and checking in to ensure we had all of our belongings! They immediately showed us to our tables and wine tasting when we walked in and updated us on departure times from winery to winery. They were just the sweetest. They serenaded the bride to be at the last winery and also have us a little gift for planning a through them! Truly an incredible trip with Eric and Amy (via Dave)!!!! If I could give 10/5 stars here, I would! We used this company for a bachelorette party and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Dave was our driver and there was not one part of this day that wasn’t carefully planned and well executed. We had terrible weather and he still managed to make it the most wonderful day for us. He had alternative options to accommodate the freezing temperatures and even took photos all day to document the experience for us. He’s an outstanding person and I look forward to making the trip back from New York again soon so do this again.

I am not from Texas or have ever visited Austin, and I booked through Dave after a last minute cancellation through another company for my sisters bachelorette party. We are not the rowdiest group, but still were interested in having fun. Dave was consistently professional yet warm and responsive to our group’s needs. Keri was our driver and she was incredibly flexible and friendly. She even added a stop for free chocolate samples when our second winery sped through the tasting (at the castle). The service was phenomenal all the way from our own door step to wineries, lunch, sightseeing, and back to our front door. Amazing, so fun, so convenient, SAFE, and we have wonderful memories from this experience! Highly recommended!

We went for a wine tour as part of a bachelorette weekend and had so much fun! We made our day 90s themed and had a blast ALL DAY! The driver, Ruth was so much fun and even took photos for us throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this as an activity for any girls trip!

This was the most amazing tour of my life! Dave was a “celebrity” in the area and made us feel like celebrities as well. Our tour included 4 incredible wineries with the most attentive, amazing staff. At each place we were given royal treatment! Dave held our purses, cups, packages and such all day, while keeping us on schedule! His driving was responsible and I’ve never felt more safe. He also was quite the host, in that he knew the area and was able to point out special landmarks. His humor, light hearted nature, and interesting stories all made the day incredibly memorable! We had an absolute blast on our Hill Country Wine Tour! This was a surprise for our bride and she was so excited. We loved themed events so we decided to take it back to the 90’s. Ruth was amazing and always had cold water waiting for us on return to the bus. She took group pictures through the day which was a huge plus! Very professional and fun! We would 12/10 recommend!!!!

Hill Country Wine Tours organized such a wonderful experience for my group of friends! Dave got a sense of what kind of wines we wanted to try and put together a full day itinerary. Our driver, Mike, showed up on time with a spacious, comfortable van stocked with water, topo chicos, and bluetooth ready to pair with anyone's phone for tunes throughout the day. Each stop was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the tasting and order a glass of anything we particularly liked. Every winery that Dave picked was gorgeous and ideal for lots of photos. A couple of favorite moments from the day were feeding donkeys at Hye Meadow and having a tasting up in a beautiful treehouse overlooking the vineyards at Sandy Road. Dave is awesome. He is a true professional from start to finish. He accommodated our group of 6 adults to meet every need. He arranged something special for the ladies as well as taking care of the men. At the end of the day, he made suggestions to ensure that we were all happy with meal request. Great service! The ultimate VIP experience! Kristen, our driver, was great and took great pictures! We were picked up at our door and dropped off at our door!
